After the decision of the criminal regime to remove the license of Hizb ut Tahrir / Indonesia on 19 July 2017 thus preventing the party from carrying out the Islamic Dawah work, on the pretext that the party has worked and still works to establish the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate), which will threaten the national state and remove it from existence.
And after the failure of the serious attempts by the criminal regime to criminalize the Khilafah as part of Islam, because the idea of the Khilafah has spread among the people, and they believed that it is an integral part of their Deen, this criminal system tried and still tries to erase it from the formal education curricula, it even cancelled examination results of the Khilafah subject.
Not only that, but it covered its failed attempts with the opinions of the Indonesian Council of Scholars in the need to abide by the National Charter. This criminal regime tried and tries to separate the Khilafah from Islam depending on the words of the English agent, Ali Abdel Raziq in his book Islam and the Foundations of Political Power, his view is that the Khilafah has nothing to do with the Deen.
As for the National Charter, Muslims in any place and time are an integral part of the Islamic Ummah, the Ummah of Muhammad (saw), which is the best nation that was brought to mankind. It is an ancient nation which the Messenger of Allah (saw) has built, cultured, and united on the Islamic creed alone. The Islamic creed based on the Qur’an and Sunnah is its real bond. It is its universal charter, since this Ummah was one Ummah, united by one doctrine from which its system emanates. This Ummah is not a new nation, nor a nation separated from others, and has its original charter, namely Islam, which is the Qur’an and the Sunnah, in which is its doctrine and the rules of its Deen. Therefore, the Ummah does not need any new charter, or the so-called National Charter.
As for the English agent, Ali Abdel Raziq in his book Islam and the Foundations of Political Power, his view is that the Khilafah has nothing to do with the Deen.
This has no value. This book was published in April 1925, after the Khilafah (Caliphate) was abolished on March 3, 1924 CE/ 1342 AH, while Al-Azhar in Egypt led the forefront of this call and began a strong activity in Egypt’s political and religious circles aimed at discussing the issue of the Khilafah and deciding on it.
They concluded that there is a need to convene an international Islamic conference attended by representatives of the Islamic countries, to be based in Cairo under the sponsorship and supervision of Al-Azhar.
This book and its writer have been violently opposed due to its blatant contradiction with the Islamic constants on the one hand, and matching all the conformity with the aims of the English and colonial policy in the Islamic world on the other. The English wanted to destroy the Khilafah (Caliphate) and destroy every idea in order to bring it back. This is the primary purpose of the whole book. So this how they were before, and this how they are now. Now America’s agents are following their way.
Regarding the book, the Supreme Council of Ulema under the supervision of Sheikh Muhammad Abu Al-Fadl, the Sheikh of Al-Azhar University, was tried by a consensus of twenty-four scholars who said that the book and its writer violate the Deen and the texts of the noble Quran and Sunnah and consensus. From the violations of Islam that came in the book: (1) Defining the Islamic Shariah as purely spiritual and has no relationship to ruling and life’s affairs. (2) That the Deen does not nullify that the struggle of the Prophet (saw) was for power, not for the sake of the Deen, nor to spread the message to the world; (3) That the system of ruling of the Prophet (saw) was the subject of ambiguity, vagueness, disturbance, and was incomplete therefore leading to confusion; (4) That the mission of the Prophet was to give the message of the Shariah devoid of ruling and its execution. (5) It denied the consensus of the companions to appoint an Imam and that there must be someone taking care after the Ummah’s Deen and worldly matters (6) It denied that the judiciary is a Shariah role; (7) that the government of Abu Bakr and the rightly guided Caliphs after him, may Allah be pleased with them were not religious. Based on this, the writer was taken out of the clique of scholars on Wednesday, 22 of Muharram 1344 AH corresponding to 12 August 1925 CE. Thus, the writer and his book, with its complete violation of Islam, has no connection to Islam.
O rulers and agents, How can you attempt to wipe out the rightly guided Khilafah and separating it from Islam? The Prophet (saw) said:
«تَكُونُ النُّبُوَّةُ فِيكُمْ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلاَفَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ»
“There will be Prophethood for as long as Allah wills it to be, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be Khilafah on the Prophetic method” (Ahmad)
And he (saw) ordered us to follow the Sunnah of his Rightly Guided Caliphs who came after him:
«عَلَيْكُمْ بِسُنَّتِي وَسُنَّةِ الْخُلَفَاءِ الرَّاشِدِينَ المَهْدِيِّيْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِي، وَعَضُّوا عَلَيْهَا بِالنَّوَاجِذِ»
“You must adhere to my Sunnah and the way of the Rightly Guided Caliphs who came after me. Bite on to it with your back molar teeth (i.e. cling to it strongly).” [Abu Dawood and Tirmithi]
How do you attempt to prevent its re-establishment? When it is Allah’s promise:
( وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ)
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient” [An-Nur: 55]
And the glad-tiding of the Messenger of Allah (saw):
«ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكاً عَاضًّا فَيَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكاً جَبْرِيَّةً فَيَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلاَفَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ نُبُوَّةٍ»
“...then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be biting Kingship for as long as Allah Wills, then He will remove it when He wills, then there will be oppressive kingship for as long as Allah wills, then he will remove it when He wills, and then there will be Khilafah upon the Prophetic method” (Ahmad)
The denial of the Khilafah (Caliphate) is a denial of what is known from Islam by necessity, rather it is the denial of the most important duties and the crown of obligations in Islam. This is because the Khilafah is a vital issue for the entire Ummah, including the Indonesian people, the Khilafah is the source of its strength, power and revival as a long-standing nation, and it will become the number one state in the world, and will not be denied except by the losers.
O Muslims, O sincere scholars, O respected elders, and all who have weight and influence, adhere to the Sunnah of your Prophet, and the Sunnah of His rightly guided Caliphs who came after him, and hold on firmly to it, for these days are days of sedition, only those blessed with Allah’s mercy will be guided. And listen to Allah’s saying:
( يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ)
“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.” [Al-Anfal: 24]
